Free Fall

Last Sunday I had my very first newborn photoshoot and I loved it! Not knowing what to expect, one would at least expect to be nervous, but I wasn’t. I gratefully embraced the opportunity and merged seamlessly into the brand-new family dynamics. For two hours I followed the little 3-week-old boy’s rhythm of breathing while sleeping, laughed at the powerful noises in his diaper and melt away in his sparkling eyes during his feeding. I truly enjoyed this new experience. No controlling, no manipulating. Just some natural light and the openness of everyone involved to go with the flow.
